Itchy Dermi is a milk that calms itching, moisturizes and softens the skin. It promotes skin repair and has a repellent action against insects. It is indicated :
- In prevention of summer dermatitis in early spring and late autumn.
- In horses with summer dermatitis to relieve itching.
- To soothe the horse which itches due to skin irritation.
Itchy Dermi is made from natural ingredients.
Allantoin is a compound derived from a root. It has soothing and healing properties for the skin.
The blend of noble vegetable oils (argan, avocado, almond, jojoba, macadamia) relieves itching, softens the skin and promotes its regeneration.
Orange extracts repel the insects responsible for summer dermatitis.
Itchy Dermi is particularly indicated in cases of summer dermatitis (DERE). This skin condition is caused by the culicoid, a biting gnat that feeds on blood. Some horses are allergic to its saliva and react violently to the itching it causes. They scratch their mane and the base of the tail relentlessly to the point of tearing their hair and creating skin sores.
The causes of this allergy are multiple, however it is found more frequently in horses suffering from reduced immunity and in horses with an excess of toxins in the body (especially overweight ponies with engorged liver). To optimize the prevention or treatment of DERE, it is advisable to perform hepato-renal drainage in parallel with a course of Drainatox.

Prevention of summer dermatitis: from early spring, apply liberally daily to the base of the mane and tail. Don't hesitate to spill around. Reinforce protection (box, blanket, etc.) at critical times: Culicoides are more aggressive at the start and end of the day.
Treatment of itching and summer dermatitis: apply daily and until healing on the areas where the horse is scratching. In case of large wounds, apply Cicaseptive cream as a supplement. Use the Naturofly repellent to protect other parts of the body from insects.
